Louisville and Kentucky opened fall ball at Ulmer Stadium with a doubleheader that delivered plenty of action. Game one saw back-and-forth momentum, capped by Bri Despines’ three-run walk-off homer to give the Cardinals a 7-6 win. In game two, Peyton Plotts homered again for Kentucky, but Taylor Monroe’s RBI double put Louisville back on top before weather ended things early.
