Why Some Articles Here Are Behind a Paywall

If you have landed on one of my articles and hit a paywall, I want to take a minute to explain why, because I want people to know the reasons.

It’s simple. I’m independently owned, and no one is backing me financially to do this work. I put a ton of time into it. But covering softball is something I love, and honestly, I feel it’s my duty to do so.

My coverage spans from the AUSL, college softball, including the Tennessee Lady Vols and programs throughout the region’s conferences. That means the power leagues, but also the mid-majors in the Sun Belt, American, OVC, and beyond. I enjoy conversations with players and coaches, and bringing deeper inside stories when possible. I even bring some high school stories from across the Southeast.

The paywall helps so I can keep showing up, and as this grows, the coverage only gets stronger. Every subscription goes directly back into the work I provide, and all that is involved. The travel, the time on-site, and the great amount of time I spend working at home.

If you have found value in what I do here, becoming a subscriber is the best way to keep it going. Thank you for being here. I appreciate every one of you.
