The Utah Talons remain the top team in the AUSL, after winning the inaugural championship in 2025. With some new faces and a great group of returners, this team hasn’t missed a beat. If you wonder why, it most likely comes back to the standard and culture of the team. Last season, the Talons relied heavily on a reserve pool player in Jadelyn Allchin.
Allchin provided a constant spark during that season. After a year as a reserve player, she solidified her spot on this year’s team. Talons general manager Lisa Fernandez selected Allchin in the second round of the 2026 AUSL Allocation Draft. Being a Talon is definitely what Allchin is supposed to be. After a season of showing great reliability and production, Fernandez had to bring her back.
