Vibe Fall Roster

Vibe Secure Three Key Additions for Fall Competition

More fall additions for the Florida Vibe have been set. Today, the Vibe announced Payton Dixon, Josie Foreman, and Sophia Nugent to the fall roster.

The Vibe are scheduled for two fall games against SEC opponents. They will open at the University of Florida on Sunday, October 12, in Gainesville. Then on November 8, the Vibe will travel to Athens, Georgia to face the Bulldogs of UGA.

Below is a quick background on each player that was added today.

Payton Dixon is a former USF Bulls pitcher. Dixon posted a career 2.21 ERA with an opponent batting average of .222. In 466 innings pitched over 105 appearances, she struck out 345 batters and finished with a record of 49-22 in Tampa. In 2025, Dixon earned All-AAC First Team honors after helping the Bulls to an AAC Championship and an NCAA Tallahassee Regional appearance.

Josie Foreman is another USF Bull and was Dixon’s catcher behind the plate. Foreman just wrapped up her collegiate career at South Florida as well. She hit .268 with 24 home runs, 103 RBIs, and 53 runs scored in 174 games played. Defensively, Foreman recorded 945 putouts with a .988 fielding percentage while handling catching duties.

Sophia Nugent is a former Oklahoma Sooner and Tennessee Lady Vols catcher. She appeared in 73 games with Oklahoma, winning two National Championships before transferring to Tennessee. In two seasons in Knoxville, Nugent hit .287 with 29 home runs, 99 RBIs, and 48 runs scored in 117 games. Behind the plate, she posted a .995 fielding percentage with 716 putouts in her two seasons with the Lady Vols.

This past season as a pro, Nugent played in 29 games with the New York Rise. She hit .258 with an OPS of .914 and added five home runs.

Stay tuned for more updates as the Florida Vibe continue to build their fall roster and prepare for upcoming competition.
